We're Getting Married!

Our wedding ceremony and the party after will both be taking place at Everett Ranch, four miles from Salida on Saturday July 23, 2022. We'll have shuttles available to pick up and drop guests off in town. Guests are also welcome to drive and park at the ranch.
We are looking forward to spending time with family and friends, just come ready to celebrate and dance. Can't wait to see you all!
Attire - This is a pretty casual affair, but we'll still be wearing wedding attire. "What does that mean? Does anyone ever feel clear on what they should wear to a wedding?!" Our suggestion is a party dress or summer sundress with wedges or dressy sandals. Dress pants with a collared shirt for men. Add a tie or jacket if you'd like.

NOTE: We'll be paying close attention to any recommendations made by the CDC and Colorado state guidelines in regards to Covid-19. We understand we are hosting an event during the era of Covid-19 and that people's comfort level varies.
If you plan on attending, we kindly ask that you take a Covid test within 72 hours of the party. If you are not comfortable attending, we absolutely understand (these are weird times) and want you to make the best decision for you and your family. We will not be upset, we promise!
How Did This Happen?
Can you believe it? I know it seems fast, but we decided we're pretty big fans of each other and wanted to make it official.
Nate proposed to Abbey on May 29th, 2021 and was not nervous at all. He definitely didn't get down on one knee by a beautiful river outside of Salida with a whole speech planned and simply say "Hey, Abbey". Then proceed to forget to ask the whole "will you marry me?" part... But she got the point and said yes!
So what's the story? Here's the abridged version:
We actually went to high school together, but only admired from afar. After running into each other in Denver one night about a decade later, Nate messaged the "Abbey Drake" he found in his contacts the next day hoping it was the same phone number. It turns out it was and she did in fact want to go on a date.
Six years, multiple jobs, a few trips exploring the world, one house and a pandemic later, we're confident about a few things. Abbey loves sleep over everything else, Nate still doesn't know how to properly grocery shop and we're going to love each other for the rest of our lives.
Although the verdict is still out on which one is more funny (it's me, Nate. I'm the funny one).

ACCOMMODATIONS
There are a variety of Airbnb, VRBO and hotel options in Salida. However, it's a small town and will be busy during the summer. We recommend that you book your accommodations as soon as possible since summer is busy season and rooms will fill quickly.
